In an Attempt to try and stop the NSA from spying on the private emails. Google an establishment not famed for its security of clients is trying to stop people spying on private information. This makes one realize that believe it or not google is the lesser of two evils in this situation, as surprising as it sounds it is true. "All messages sent and received through Gmail are now encrypted, making them extremely difficult to intercept" (mail online)
How can we defend an organisation when even google are taking precautions to try and stop the NSA and their online spying obsession.

This is how we treat the innocent people of America and in fact the world. A whole society based on mistrust and no privacy. "Move follows revelations in documents leaked last year by Edward Snowden that spy agency can look at private messages"
"Reports have indicated that the NSA was hacking into fiber optic cables used by tech companies to send data to and from data servers scattered around. The trouble is that the data sent through these cables is usually not encrypted, which allowed NSA spies easy access to the information being sent."
Why is it that after all this time and complaining about the unconstitutionality of the NSA and how spying on innocent people is wrong they are still doing it TODAY, RIGHT this SECOND! How is it that although people are complaining nothing is being done to try and stop the NSA. Why is no one taking any notice of this and trying to stop it? "The National Security Agency has defended its work against Edward Snowden's allegations - but also pledged more transparency about its work"

The Agency defends its work? How can it defend its work? If they want to have more transparency how come we still don't know what they are doing, and saying they are doing it for national security can be said to almost anything, doesn't mean it justifies taking away the liberties of innocent people.
